Welcome back to Mart's Arts just before the Easter holidays. Plenty of news today; foremost being Perspectives, the book inspired by my idea to send photo images to authors Maria Savva and Darcia Helle with the aim to inspire them into writing short stories based on the images they saw. No clues, no descriptions! It worked and Perspectives has now been launched and is available on Amazon in paperback and on Kindle.
Gig wise I certainly have been busy with Lisbee Stainton at the Cambridge Junction and a lovely trip to Sheffield City Hall to photograph three bands on one bill that I have personally loved to listen to since I was a teenager FM, Europe and Foreigner. A review was also penned by me and submitted to I Review Rock.Com including a small selection from my images that night.
The images are all over in the 'Music' section on here, pop across and have a look
Chart bothering reggae legends UB40 were the next stop at the Cambridge Corn Exchange. One of my images was picked up by the BBC and used around the world for a rather odd story that broke the following day!
The follow up to Perspectives is already being written, the photos are in and even a story supplied by me as well!
So that's it for now, until the next update buy the book, share links to my stuff and be nice to people!
All the best
